Thinking of ways I can make pages talk
And wondering if the answer is rebooting my audioblog.
I spent the day on the trail, walking more than 7000 steps in Dublin and traveling on public transport for more than five hours. During my travel time, I flattened the battery on my Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses while listening to podcasts, some of them audio logs from people I discovered before 2010.
I wanted to visit several places in Dublin, including Learnovate, the Irish Research Development Group, and Larry G. Maguire. I tossed a few cursive notes into my lavender Leuchtturm and before I forgot what I had written, I made audio notes on my handset by using the Spreaker Studio app.
I think it’s often an exercise in mindfulness to talk out loud to yourself. When I reviewed out loud the scratched notes in my hard cover journal, they came alive. Unlike having an AI read what I wrote, I used Actual Intelligence to convert half-finished sentences into my own voice in real time.
Let me know what you think—especially if you think extemporaneous audio logs are a proper way of helping hand written pages to talk.
